AXIOM Project

AXIOM is a rock-electronic music project that started in 2010, initially developed for duo and then resulted in Christian's second solo album, "The Groove Machine", recorded in Sweden at the end of 2012 together with 3 Swedish musicians (Lars Lindberg on bass, Jonathan Westlig on drums and Jonathan Alstrom on guitar). On both albums Christian is the author of music, lyrics and arrangements.

The music is a mix between modern electronic sounds, a particular use of effects and real time samples and the sounds of the traditional rock instruments (namely bass, guitar and drums).  These elements help to create a powerful and original result, which is expressed at the highest level in live concerts.

Despite the technical complexity of the arrangements, Axiom is in fact a project designed primarily for live, then played and "experienced" at first in the live concerts that preceded the creation of the album.  For the muscovites concerts Christian (vocals, synth and effects) has  surrounded himself with a trio of skilled russian musicians:
    •    Grisha Zaitsev - bass, vocals and trumpet
    •    Pavel Kovan - electronic drums, vocals
    •    Ilja Kalmadinov - Guitar

In live concerts, except from music from the second, some songs from the first album  ("Sì!" - 2007) have been added, along with some  new songs that have come to life from the new experience in Moscow.
